![]() Pressure on the Spyder producerWhen you make a film with a big star, fans always put pressure on the producer and director and the same happened with the film SPYder. After initially announcing that they would release the film in Hindi, the producers backed out as they felt that it was not viable for them. However, angry fans sent messages to the producers, demanding to know why they were not releasing the film in Hindi. “A lot of publicity is necessary for a proper release, and eventual good openings. If they release the film without any of that hype, the audience will treat it like a dubbed film and collections will be below one crore, which is not good for an actor as popular as Mahesh Babu. Instead, it’s better to drop the idea and sell the satellite rights,” says a source from the production house, who adds that the producers are also planning to call Mahesh Babu’s fans and explain their decision to them. “People compare every film with Baahubali and that is also another fear factor,” says the source.
