Oka Laila Kosam Review | Average Romantic EntertainerFilm : Oka Laila Kosam Cast : Naga Chaitanya, Pooja Hegde, Ali, Brahmanandam, Suman, Nasser and others. Music : Anoop Rubens Produced by : Akkineni Nagarjuna – Annapurna Studios Directed by : Vijay Kumar Konda Censor Certificate : U/A Story : Oka Laila Kosam is the upcoming film starring Naga Chaitanya And Pooja Hegde. Revealing the story, Naga Chaitanya said that: “In a relationship, the boy and the girl (Pooja Hegde) have to like each other. What if the girl doesn't like the boy? To what extent will the boy go to win the girl? That is what this film is about. Most love stories are about teenagers in college. This one is slightly mature. I play a 24-25-year-old who is getting marriage proposals he is not interested in.” Karthik(Naga Chaitanya) is a handsome and cool going guy who completes his studies and comes back to India. One fine day he happens to see Nandu(Pooja Hegde) and they develop hatred on each other after several meetings. Both of them don’t like each other. Somehow, Karthik proposes Nandu but Nandu rejects the proposal and one day Karthik’s parents make arrangements for Karthik and Nandu engagement without their notice. What happens now? Will Karthik’s parents know the truth? Will Nandu accepts karthik now? The answers for the above questions forms the rest of the story. Performances : Naga Chaitanya is a good performer especially while essaying lover boy roles. He proved gain that he can pull off the lover boy roles and he has showed a matured performance in this film. Chaitu impresses as Karthik. Pooja Hegde makes her debut with this film and she is looking great in the film. She has got a perfect role for debut and she impresses with her performance and she will definitely reach heights. Ali essays a hilarious role in the film. Vijay Kumar Konda always plans some special roles for Ali and he does again for this film too. Plus Points : Performances Cinematography Comedy Minus Points : Screenplay Story Music Direction Cinematography : The cinematography is handled by I.Andrew. The cinematographer has portrayed some wonderful visuals and the cinematography of the film is at top notch. Editing : Praveen Pudi is the editor for this film. The editing is good. The runtime is little more. There are many unwanted boring scenes which could have been chopped. The boring scenes have disturbed the flow and the film is slow. Music : The music is done by Anoop Rubens. The music of the film is good and the audio also impressed a lot. But the complete audio album failed to generate a positive response. Only few songs are impressive. Anoop has done a great job with background Score. Story & Screenplay & Dialogues & Direction : Vijay Kumar Konda has written and directed the film. The film has a routine story but the director has presented in an entertaining way and he tried to take us away from routine flavor but he failed to do and we get struck with the routine taking. The film is completely predictable. We often get bored at several points in the film. The dialogues are good and the direction is also clever. The director has continued his success with the film. The first half is good and entertaining but when it comes to the second half, the film lacks pace and the director’s screenplay failed to make us sit comfortably. Oka Laila Kosam From Reviewer View : Oka Laila Kosam is a cute romantic story and the director Vijay kumar Konda had planned the movie very well and the special romantic scenes are very good. The film has a routine story but the way it was presented is appreciable and Naga Chaitanya is at ease with romantic entertainers. The film could have been made still in a better way! Verdict : Oka Laila Kosam is a good romantic entertainer and a one time watchable time pass flick. Rating : 2.5/5 Reviewed by : Sri Please Share this article with your friends. Sponsor
