We all know that the Telugu remake of Drishyam 2, starring Venkatesh was officially launched a week or so ago. The unit commenced regular shooting a couple of days back and a crucial sequence is being shot in Hyderabad presently. Now, the latest update on the cast of Drishyam 2 is that, small screen beauty Poorna, famous for her stint in a happening dance show has come on-board for the project.

Poorna will be playing a brief yet very important role in Drishyam 2 and she will be joining the shoot soon. Drishyam 2 retains majority of the lead cast who played crucial roles in the first part. This time around, Jeethu Joseph who directed the original version in Malayalam will be helming the remake. Suresh Babu is producing the film and Anup Rubens will be scoring the tunes for the remake. The film is likely to be released in theatres by the end of this year. More details about the project will be out soon.
