With the pressure put up by villain on him, he commits suicide and he reveals the truth about an incident happened in his childhood.
What is the truth about?
How did Mahesh babu take revenge on villain?
What is his love story?
The answers for the above questions cook up the entire story of this film.
Mahesh babu has essayed a super mass role in the film and he has maintained a unique style and diction this time and entertained the fans and the movie lovers with his great performance. He is known for his performance and he can pull off any kind of story on his shoulders and his performance is Aagadu is one more achieving stunt in his career. Undoubtedly Mahesh career best performance will be Aagadu and he did very well in action sequences and comedy scenes, It’s a one man show by Mahesh.
Tamannah Bhatia is the female lead of the film and she has essayed the role of a sweet shop owner and Tamannah looked glamourous in the role and she is hot! Tamannah delivered her best in acting and the best part of Tamannah is that we will see her dancing outstanding in this film and she deserves great appreciations for her dance.
Shruthi Hassan need to be mentioned because the special song(Junction lo Function) which she was sizzled in has a great impact. Her energy levels are amazing and she looks stunning opposite Mahesh and the song came out really very well.
Sonu Sood played the role of a bad boy in the film and he has acted with a lot of maturity in performance when compared with Dookudu.
Brahmanandam as don suri brings in excellent laughs in the second half, and his dance episode is awesome. But how many days do we need to watch him playing the same role in all the movies. Atleast thrice a month? He has been getting the same kind of roles.
The rest of the cast has did their jobs well and made their presence felt.Plus Points Mahesh babu performance Few hilarious scenes Cinematography Minus Points Screenplay & Direction Routine Story Too many punch dialogues
The cinematography is handled by KV Guhan and he has made the film look great with some wonderful visuals. The combination of Mahesh and Guhan is outstanding and the film always delivered hit and It repeated again. The Cinematography is at top notch and Mahesh is looking very great in the film.
Editor MR Varma could have easily cut short the film in the first half as the editing is dull there. On a whole it is decent and there are no much complaints on editing except that.
The music is done by Thaman SS. He has delivered fine music for the film and all the songs are good. This is his 50th film and he took it as a challenge and has given the best audio in his career. The audio album is a big hit and the back ground score is super. Thaman BGM is very good and he has given the best Back ground score in the recent times.
Story & Screenplay & Dialogues & Direction :
The story of the film is very simple and usually it is screenplay what we find interesting in these kinds of films and Srinu Vaitla also runs everything on a good screenplay. He has did his best in making the story to look new and make us feel fresh. The dialogues in the film are very good. They are instant hits. Mahesh Babu is one artist who could deliver a dialogue with a lot of ease and he has done his best for that. Every dialogue in the film will attract. But making every dialogue a punch liner has no point because the audience will miss the special feel of those dialogues. There are so many fast dialogues and punch lines especially in hero introduction scene. The direction by Srinu Vaitla is very good and he has co ordinated all the departments and successfully made the film a hit. The way he has planned everything is entertaining today!
Srinu Vaitla tried his best by keeping his style aside and is successful to maximum extent. This is only limited to first half of the film. The second half of the film is routine Srinu Vaitla styke of attempting a revenge drama using a comedian.
Aagadu From Reviewer View :
Aagadu has finally released with a lot of expectations and the film has got the hit talk from the premier show itself. The film is a pakka mass action entertainer. Mahesh Babu performance is a highlight in the film. The film is a bit slow but the film has the potential to re write all the records of TFI. The comedy in the first half and especially in the second half is hilarious and Srinu Vaitla proved his mark again. The production values are grand and Aagadu is also a routine mass commercial entertainer that has nothing new elements which could amaze the viewers. The first half of the film Is far better than the second half. The second half is less in entertainment quotient and the climax Is good. It should be considered that comedian like Brahmanandam should stop acting telugu films for an year or two so that our writers come up with some good stories and they might break the routine commercial formulas.! The film is watchable and Mahesh Babu made the magic and the film might generate huge revenues and the result at the box office depends on the audience receiving the second half of the film.
Aagadu is a Average commercial mass entertainer that has all the elements required to entertain you to the core. Its Mahesh Babu one man show all the way! Its a disappointing attempt though! Don’t miss for Mahesh fans.
