Mumbai Police, Cartoon Network partner for campaignMumbai, Nov 14 - Mumbai Police and Cartoon Network have partnered to launch a campaign "BachchePoliceBulayenge". Mumbai Police also launched the Traffic Guide Project, a community outreach initiative to encourage adults to participate in patrolling and volunteering pedestrians and general public to obey traffic rules, read a statement. As a part of this, two videos were unveiled. These featured the channel's popular character Kris from "Roll No. 21", educating children on traffic rules, regulations and stranger safety. With security becoming an alarming concern amongst parents, the campaign aims at instilling the habit of approaching the police in case of an emergency and how can children combat them together. Mumbai Commissioner of Police Datta Padsalgikar said: "In pursuit of building a safe environment for our kids, the campaign aims to educate and sensitise children to be aware, responsible and adhere to societal rules and regulations. We want to enable them with all the right information so they grow up to be well informed citizens and lead by example." --IANS ks/rb/mr
